# Clip properties

> Transform, crop, opacity and blend, and the type-specific controls for each kind of clip.

## How selection drives the panel

- Select one clip to edit its full set of properties.
- Select several clips to change a shared property on all of them at once.
- The panel shows only the rounded property groups and creative tools that apply to the current selection.

> **Note:** A **Mixed** value means the selected clips do not currently share that setting; changing it applies one value to all.

## Controls shared by visual clips

- **Transform**: position, size, rotation, and anchor point. Use **Quick position** to place selected items at any corner, edge center, or canvas center in one click.
- **Crop & edges**: crop each edge inward and soften the crop boundary.
- **Appearance**: adjust opacity, blend mode, and corner radius.
- **Playback**: change video speed and visual fade timing.
- **Perspective**: edit the four corner-pin offsets directly or on the preview.

> **Tip:** Many numeric controls can be animated — look for the keyframe toggle beside the value.

## Type-specific controls

| Clip type | Controls |
| --- | --- |
| Audio | Volume, fades, pitch, and the complete six-band per-clip equalizer under one Audio group (see Audio Editing). |
| Text | Content, font, size, color, alignment, background, spacing, effects, and animation (see the Text page). |
| Shape | Shape type, path, fill, stroke, mask, and feather. |
| Subtitle | Cue timing and text, plus caption style presets. |
| Creative tools | Looks, Effects, and Animation open only when chosen and reuse the same editable clip data. |

## Markers

Markers are placed by your agent. Click one on the ruler to open its editor here: change the **Frame**, edit the **Label**, set the **Color**, or **Delete Marker**. The list beneath shows every marker in time order; select a row to jump to it.
