Editor layout
The toolbar, the tools column with your agent, Media, Library and Transcript, the preview, the Inspector and the timeline.
The main surfaces
- Toolbar (top): back to projects, the app menu with the project name, undo and redo, Save and Export. Settings and keyboard shortcuts are in the app menu.
- Tools column (left): your agent, your media, the creative library and the transcript.
- Preview: the current frame with overlays, safe areas and playback controls.
- Inspector (right): everything about the selected clip, or the canvas when nothing is selected.
- Timeline (bottom): tracks, clips, sequences and the editing tools.

The Inspector
Select a clip to edit it in the Inspector. It shows only the groups that apply to that clip: transform, crop and appearance, text or shape styling, and Audio for volume, fades and EQ. Creative tools opens Looks, Effects (including Color Wheels and Curves) and Animation when you choose them. Click a caption to style it. With nothing selected, the Inspector edits the project canvas.
Stay safe while you work
- Save often with ⌘S; auto-save can also run on an interval you set in Settings.
- Undo and redo with ⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z. They cover your agent's edits as well as yours.
- Open Keyboard Shortcuts to search every command, rebind keys and import or export presets.
